The Friendly Spreadsheet newsletter is out of hibernation!
You're signed up for musings and business updates. You can use the fancy new subscription form to adjust that or add on US Estimated Tax Reminders and/or Business Owner Nags.
Hi there,
You’re receiving this email because at some point, maybe as long ago as 2021, you opted to receive emails from me, Kat Sklar, my business The Friendly Spreadsheet LLC, or tax reminders from CPA Nag. If you’d like to stop getting bulk emails from me, click here.
Oh hey, you’re still reading! Yay! I’ve switched to a single email tool that lets me send out emails based on your specific interests from one place*. Based on what I know about you and what you had previously subscribed to, I’ve signed you up for these kinds of emails:
Friendly Spreadsheet Updates
YNAB and/or personal finance specific content as well as news about the business and upcoming workshop offerings. Unlikely to be more than 8 emails/year.
Smorgasbord Musings
Whatever has been on my mind enough to spark an essay, plus links to my writing when published elsewhere. Probably includes a life hack like this one: “Breaking news: everything is easier if you always fold over one end of the tape before you apply it to something. Always having a pull tab is amazing!” Sent erratically, no more than 1x/month.
If you like, you could also subscribe to US Quarterly Estimated Tax Reminders (formerly available via a $19/year subscription to CPA Nag, now free or pay-what-you-want). These are sent three weeks, one week, and one day before US estimated tax due dates for individual tax filers. The final email for each quarter includes a new cat photo. Twelve emails/year.
Pop over here to opt in or out of specific kinds of emails. You can also follow that link to opt in to Business Owner Nags. I’ve collected my best business owner reminders and turned them into an email sequence. Once you opt in, you’ll get one email every two weeks until you finish the series; then you’ll get new reminders as I write them.
Look, somewhere out there in the multiverse Past Kat can’t believe it’s taken me this long to amicably break up with the accounting firm I interned at as a 20-year-old in 2006 and finally get back to writing as one of my main gigs. But we’re here at last, and I’m thrilled to have you reading along.
Warmly,
Kat Sklar

*I used to have three. I know, so ridiculous.
